About the Author
I wanted to be an actress for a long time until I realized it wasn't so much the acting that I loved but the storytelling. (But don't get me wrong, if someone offered me a dream role in a movie, I'd take it.) So I've lovingly returned to my childhood pastime of writing, only now my novels come to life on my computer screen rather than being scrawled in a spiral notebook. And thank goodness for that, or it'd take me a year to finish the editing process.
I'm active in our local theatre scene (on the management side now). I love traveling, playing games, gardening, crafting, and checking items off my bucket list--last accomplishment: learn to sew; next up: milk a cow. If you asked my friends to describe me, I think they'd say I am a little quirky and an old soul.
I live north of Denver with my very supportive husband. He is vital to my writing process--serving as sounding board, walking thesaurus, and reality check.

Couldn't Put It Down!

A fun and refreshing read, her writing makes it effortless to get lost in the story with the characters. A perfect balance of mystery and romance, loved the dynamic between Jake and Molly. This book kept me up reading at night and the first thing I grabbed in the morning! Job well done on her first published work! Can't wait for more novels by Heather Cleveland to come!

What a fantastic, fun read! I generally don't read many mystery novels, as there usually isn't enough character development for me. However, Right as Rain really brings the characters to life while also maintains a suspenseful mystery. You'll find an instant friend in main character, Molly Carter, who's easy to relate to if you've ever been through the struggles of "finding yourself" in the real world. Molly's developing relationship with hunky cop, Jake Runco, will keep you flipping pages way past your bedtime.
Heather Cleveland really created the perfect blend of humor, romance and suspense. Whether you enjoy mystery, romance, or just a good read, I highly recommend adding this book to your collection. I can't wait to read future novels by this up and coming, talented author.

Awesome story! I really enjoyed reading this book, I finished it in 2 days! Great plot and storyline! I lovdd the characters. It really kept my interest and on the edge of my seat! I would love to see another book with Jake Nd Molly.
